***has moved!
I meant to post this prior to moving, but ya know, moving got in the way.
my husband and I have gone from Manhattan to Jersey City and now to the ‘burbs! once we found out twins were on the way, we knew a house was in order and we’d have to say goodbye to city living.
Jersey City was an amazing place for me to grow P+W. I met incredible, passionate local business-owners and artists and their support helped me step out of my comfort zone to up my game.
one of the biggest influences I had was none other than . Katie and I met at a calligraphy class at a local shop and quickly became instagram friends, which luckily turned into a real friendship. she invited me into a group of incredibly talented female artists, which gave me space for friendship, feedback and general small-business owner venting. not only that, but she stuck her neck out for me when she barely knew me and helped me get a new job (and has been my path train seat wing woman while pregnant aka making men give me a dang seat). I am forever grateful for my friendship with Katie. please be sure to check out her shop and give her a follow! she is an extremely talented illustrator and designer (not to mention, an all-around amazing human being) and her cards and prints make great gifts!
some other amazing women who are absolutely killing it and I was able to connect with (both in person and via the ‘gram) while living in Hudson County are and I am POSITIVE there are people I am forgetting but pregnancy brain has really set in. 🤪
I know it will be hard to top the community I got to know in Jersey City but do hope to find more strong, like-minded female (and male!) artists + business-owners here in Montclair. 💖
