Both of the Crow sisters have requested that this new bag be customized to suit the petite stature of a female crow! That should be interesting to see should their request be met! The parade through the center of polka dot junction today was followed by a spirited performance. The Scarecrow Triplets came down from their perch to do some clogging as well as their highly anticipated tapping. What is so amazing about them is that they learned to tap without the benefit of a floor beneath them. The first time their tap shoes hit the floor was an occasion to be noted! Everyone knows that Pilates Girl is not exactly a girl anymore. We all humor her when she deigns to step out of her neighborhood and pay a visit to the residents who are so much in need of her approval. Who is to say why??? She herself claims to be a far better actress than anyone would guess. Recently her unwavering sense of her physical infallibility has been shaken up. She requested that her extreme desire for privacy be respected in this matter. The Mayor backs her on this, knowing how the residents here can engage in the "hearsay" that has defined us and our widely read "Hearsay from the Junction". In her honor we are promoting 2 products with her image.

55 Years Ago on February 9 it will be the 55th Anniversary of The Beatles appearing on "The Ed Sullivan Show".
For many of you (us) that may not be a notable day in history. Here at polka dot junction we have large population of Baby Boomers who remember that date as an outstanding event of their lives. For that reason we always have a celebration at cafe pdj. Looking back on last year we fondly remember The Mayor and Wee One rocking out on their guitars with old favorites such as "I Want to Hold Your Hand", "She Loves You" and "Please Please Me".The house went wild when "The Beagles (Four)" covered the "Abbey Road" album. A good laugh was had by all when "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window" was inadvertently acted out by Little Roo who had been grounded and by that I mean literally grounded as in do not leave the ground. She heard the music way up in Wackwitch Village. She donned some unrecognizable and certainly not witch appropriate clothing, jumped on her broom, leaving Baby Black Cat behind and did a perfect dismount on the roof of the cafe. From there she made her entrance through the bathroom window. Stay tuned for the rest in the upcoming week!

"We are not certain about the canine population of polka dot junction because we have a suspicion that those who may be here illegally, do not fill out their census form. Obviously, there is a notable Beagle population. We do know of a few Bernese Mountain Dogs . . . Charlie the Peagle is notorious for stealing shoes." I am lifting this directly from the bios of polka dot junction's residents as a way of introducing the latest addition to our shop here. It's a decorative pillow featuring none other than Charlie caught in the act!
