History shows that sweeping tariffs often hurt our own consumers and businesses, leading to back-and-forth trade wars that eventually force leaders right back to the negotiating table.Even looking at Donald Trump's approach—he talked incredibly tough, enacted sudden tariffs, and loudly demanded a total ban on Chinese-owned TikTok. Yet, he eventually had to make major U-turns, backing off a full TikTok ban and admitting that "you have to be flexible" on tariffs when the markets reacted sharply. It proves that you can't just write China off; our economies are entirely too interdependent for that kind of posturing.Instead of taking aggressive stances that isolate us, we should focus on mutual respect, open dialogue, and constructive partnership. True strength comes from stable diplomacy and collaboration, not trade wars. Let’s build bridges, not walls. 🤝🇺🇸🇨🇳
