As I head to the airport after 18 days here in London working on getting Fly More Than You Fall open , this review comes out and sums up what I have felt for the last 6 plus years it’s been since I first got to see it ( and is so indicative of the wonderful reviews and feedback we have recd ). When I first saw Fly More Than You Fall 6 or so years ago at UVU the university had a clothes line and cork board in the lobby inviting those who attended to write messages to those they had lost. From that moment on I had decided that if I ever had the opportunity to produce this show in another venue I would do something similar. Our amazing set and costume designer Stewart J. Charlesworth has put this together for us and it hangs in the lobby of Fly More Than You Fall - Southwark Elephant. Our first preview of Fly More Than You Fall at the Southwark Playhouse Elephant here in London is in the books. It’s utterly amazing the work that the cast,crew and our general management and production team put into making this happen. While most shows have 4-6 weeks of tech and previews before they open / we have a week ( and only 3 previews ). The first preview went really well and audience reaction was extremely positive including our first social media post from an audience member below. Two more previews to go before our official Press/opening night on Wednesday. Yea we have branded socks !
