A good friend and wonderful customer of ours, Donna Johnson, lost both her parents in 2020 while they were residing in 2 different nursing homes.

She, along with her family, quickly became advocates for Seniors, fighting for justice & accountabilty for senior’s rights
•
In 2021 she started the Mickey & Dee Charitable Foundation - where she turned her sadness into something so positive. This wonderful foundation provides gifts for seniors putting smiles on their faces.

Please read below about Donna & her amazing foundation and PLEASE help make a difference.

Have your children make holdiay cards for the Seniors & drop them off to me and I will make sure Donna gets them to include with her packages this year.

You can also help fill this year’s theme “Sacks for Seniors” & make a donation to help fill sacks & stocking with items that the seniors can use.

THE MICKY AND DEE CHARITABLE FOUNDATION Operation Gifts for Seniors

OUR STORY
We lost Micky and Dee in 2020, they were residing in two different facilities and both contracted Covid. My family quickly became advocates for Seniors, fighting for justice and accountability for the more than 15 thousand seniors that dies and for the rights of the seniors in lockdown unable to see their families or even come out of their rooms. We started dropping off gifts on the Holidays. With all of the positive feedback from administration we knew we needed to continue.

In 2021 we distributed card, candy, gifts. We sent stuffed animals for Easter, plants for Mother’s Day, shaves and haircut for Father’s Day, ice cream parties for 4th of July ect.
We are currently collecting for our Christmas drive where we are focusing on seniors who have no families. There are so many ways you can contribute, make cards with the kids, pickup a gift when you are out shipping, send a gift through the Amazon Wish List or make a donation through our website or Venmo.
