On Saturday, January 10th at approximately 12:00 PM, our Arthur Kill Road location was the victim of a theft. A criminal posing as an employee of a large HVAC company on Staten Island was able to leave our location with several tankless water heaters valued at a few thousand dollars.
Unfortunately, this individual did not stop there. On Monday, January 12th, the same person struck our Long Island City location, again posing as an employee of a large company, and once again left with thousands of dollars worth of tankless water heaters.
This individual had license plate blockers on both the front and rear of his vehicle to avoid camera identification. While the plates were concealed, we do have the phone number he used to call in the order, 934-254-7027, as well as footage of the vehicle he arrived in.
Additionally, on Monday, January 12th, a separate incident occurred at our Elizabeth, NJ location. Another individual purchased and left with thousands of dollars in tankless water heaters and power vented tank water heaters. This suspect arrived in an unmarked box truck
and used the following phone numbers: 612-457-2692 and 941-789-0179.
Three separate incidents. Over $25,000 in stolen property.
We are actively working with law enforcement and are taking this very seriously. We will pursue all available avenues to identify those responsible and ensure they are prosecuted.
