Originally produced by the Library of Congress in Washington DC, directed by Joy Zinoman, and here expanded, 3 actors and the voice of Kathleen Chalfant appear in Beckett's haunting late plays, Footfalls (1975), Ohio Impromptu (1980), and Catastrophe (1982, written for Vaclav Havel), alternating with premiere compositions, musical responses to the plays by a dynamic group of composers selected by William Anderson for the Cygnus Ensemble.
