This romantic and enigmatic painting by Ferdinand Knab is one of the wonderful early 20th century works offered by . Knab is best known for his immemorial landscapes, in which he uses nature to reflect on the impermanence of life and the passing of time. This scene of dawn suggests an optimistic spirit, promising new birth after the darkest hour.

This fascinating lenticular painting by Gaspar Antoine de Bois-Clair is a double portrait of King Frederick IV and Queen Louise of Denmark. The late 17th century work, presented by , reveals each sitter when viewed from the side, but from the front presents a chaotic arrangement of facial parts and wood slats.
