Every great story has a main character, and ours is Latanya DeVaughn, the founder of Bronx Bound Books.

What started as a passion for literacy and community has grown into a mission to make books more accessible, celebrate our neighborhoods, and remind every reader that they belong in the story.

Whether you’ve met Latanya at an event, seen the bookmobile around the Bronx, or you’re just discovering us, we’re so glad you’re here. 🫶🏽

We’re heartbroken to share that our studio, a space where we’ve shared creativity, literature, and so many meaningful memories, will be closing on July 31st.

While this chapter is coming to an end, our mission is not. We’ll continue hosting community events and working toward our dream of opening a permanent storefront.

Our next event is our Back to School Giveaway this August, and we’re excited to continue giving back to the communities that have supported us every step of the way. Serving our community has always been at the heart of what we do, and we look forward to continuing that mission with love. 🧡
