We’re kicking off June with an inspiring evening on June 4! Join us for a special author conversation and signing with and her parents, Dr. Janice Johnson Dias and Scott Dias, celebrating their upcoming children’s book, I Am the Dream Come True. (Released date: June 2nd, 2026)

A powerful affirmation of empowerment, strength, and purpose, the book shares their family’s legacy of blazing new trails, embracing opportunity, and pursuing new horizons. The authors will be joined in conversation by award-winning author , whose acclaimed memoir Brown Girl Dreaming has inspired readers around the world.

Today our found Latanya Devaughn read The Bronx is My Home by today at The Whitney Museum! Thank you for having us!

The lobby was filled with children and parents. The children roared like lions and told us all of the places they want to visit when they visit The Bronx!
