Henry Child and Jonathan Leshanski are the Cast Iron Guys. Buying, selling, and restoring vintage cast iron cookware, because food just tastes better on cast iron. All pieces, except those sold as raw, are cleaned using the lye method, stripped to bare metal and then properly seasoned and ready to cook on. If you buy a piece and don't love it, we'll even take it back and offer a full refund provided it hasn't been used or damaged.

Ok, Mother is back in NYC, and we are arranging her care. According to her doctor she should have people with her 6-8 hours a day, 7 days a week. So for we have found someone to cover 2 hours a day, 4 days a week, the rest is on me or my GF.
I'm trying to catch up on everything I dropped, I'll be in contact with everyone soon.
On a positive note, I've lost 40 lbs in the past couple of months.

Well, we had a fun, odd little pick today. We picked up the most adorable Buffalo forge blower, a Wapak #8 double, a sprued trivet, a stack of smaller Griswold, a #12 Lodge DO, a cool tray, a NY teakettle,and a pasta maker. Jonathan was not happy to see the phone generator, but that story is between him, a nun, and God.

Well, finally a great weekend of picking, ended up with 60 , including some great small maker pieces. Yes, that's a butcher's paper holder, I love it. Up front is a crescent legged gatey kettle that looks like it'll be gorgeous. Only think I can read on it is a 10.
