We are beyond thrilled to welcome Gregory Luce as the new Managing Director at Reed Yeboah Fine Violins. Greg is an exceptional violist and administrator, bringing over a decade of experience to the role.

A founding member of the Ae**us Quartet, Greg served as the ensemble’s Administrative Director for ten years. He has also performed both on Broadway and in the touring companies for Hamilton and Wicked.

Outside of his work as a musician, Greg further developed his operational expertise working at SSM Health, acting as a board liaison, and managing vendor sales, contracts, and onboarding.

Greg brings to his new role a passion and knowledge of contemporary and fine instruments, and a strong desire to approach his clients with transparency, empathy, and integrity.

Greg will start working with us on Monday, March 17th. We hope you will join us in wishing him a warm welcome and the best of success in his new role! Welcome Greg!

It is with many emotions that we announce the upcoming departure of Managing Director, Rachel Hauser from Reed Yeboah Fine Violins on March 13th. Rachel arrived at our shop in 2020, in the middle of the chaotic COVID-19 shutdown, and immediately went to work making sure our shop safely navigated the many challenges of the pandemic. She played a critical role in the Contemporary Violin and Bow Makers Exhibition from 2021-2024, and for almost five years, has been a beloved part of our team.

While we will miss her very much, we wish Rachel the absolute best of luck as she takes off on exciting new journeys. We are sure that she will remain close to the Reed Yeboah Fine Violins family for years to come.

In the coming days we will announce news of our new Managing Director who will begin working with us on March 17th. All of us at the shop, including Rachel, are extremely excited for this new addition to the Reed Yeboah Fine Violins Family. Stay tuned!

What's in the Case?

1. We are a pair of makers who both got our training at the Mittenwald School of Violin Making.

2. One of us serves as a co-organizer of the Brandenburg Violin Making Workshop - bringing violin makers from around the world together to share ideas, inspire each other, and advance the field of violin making.

3. In 2022, we were awarded a Gold Medal for tone for a quartet of instruments at the Violin Making Society of America competition.
