🏺 LARGE ANCIENT AMLASH POTTERY JAR — Ancient Near East, Circa 1000 B.C. 🏺

An imposing example of Amlash ceramic tradition from the Gilan region. This large, thick-walled vessel rises 18½ inches high with a maximum width of 16 inches, its rounded body defined by bold raised wave motifs sweeping around the center and incised banding at the shoulder and rim.

A substantial and sculptural piece — the kind of ancient storage vessel that anchors a room. As noted, the jar has been restored with some losses to the rim, consistent with its great age.

👢 A PAIR OF ANCIENT ROMAN BRONZE BOOTS — Circa 1st–2nd Century A.D. 👢

A rare and charming survival of Roman devotional practice. This cast bronze pair, each pierced with a suspension hole at the rim, was almost certainly created as a votive offering — small models of footwear left at shrines or temples, perhaps in gratitude for safe travel or in petition for healing.

Standing 2½ inches high and 2⅜ inches in length, the pair retains good overall condition with an attractive earthen bronze patina developed over nearly two thousand years.

A jewel-like survivor of the ancient glassblower’s art. This rare ribbed flask, likely produced in the Sidon region of the Levant, displays a deep cobalt-blue hue rarely seen in Roman glassware, along with an elegant applied handle and iridescent patina earned over nearly two millennia underground.

Standing 3¼ inches high (plus custom mount), the vessel is fully intact — a remarkable state of preservation for glass this ancient.

A rare and monumental piece of Italic prehistory. This large blackware impasto urn features a striking biconical form with a flared trumpet mouth, its surface wrapped in bands of incised geometric ornament — meanders, lozenges, and linear registers characteristic of the Villanovan culture that preceded and gave rise to the Etruscan civilization.

Standing an impressive 18¾ inches tall, this urn once served as a burial vessel, a tangible link to the funerary customs of Iron Age Italy nearly 3,000 years ago.

Some artifacts don’t simply survive history—they seem to look back at it.

This extraordinary pair of Ancient Egyptian Bronze Eyes (ca. 1000–300 B.C.) once adorned a sacred mummy mask, serving as the eternal eyes of the deceased on their journey into the afterlife. Each bronze-framed eye retains its original limestone inlay with striking painted black pupils, while the separately cast bronze brows display a rich, untouched patina developed over more than 2,000 years.

Beautifully preserved and mounted on a custom display, this rare and evocative relic is a remarkable testament to the artistry and spiritual beliefs of Ancient Egypt.
