We owe many of our Christmas traditions to the Victorian era; the festive dinner, giving of gifts, and even decorating the tree, were traditions popularized in 19th century England.

This collection is just another example of the beautiful Victorian Christmas. “Christmas with the Poets,” published in 1861, is a collection of poems and short stories to celebrate the holiday season.
