I look at this quilt and somehow feel happy.
It’s like I’ve pieced together a little garden out of fabric a giraffe stretching up under the sun, surrounded by blooming flowers and fluttering butterflies. Every piece of fabric, every stitch feels soft and real. Not perfectly flawless, but full of life.

I gathered some leftover fabric scraps and sat down to piece together a few cute little coasters
Once I placed them on the table, the space instantly felt warmer and a bit more cheerful.

I kept a few for everyday use, and wrapped the rest as small gifts for my loved ones.

I’ve just finished this quilt… and it brings me such a quiet kind of happiness.
Looking at each flower, each shade of purple, every stitch everything feels just right, so satisfying after all the time spent carefully working on it.
And I know this quilt won’t just stay here… it will be a wedding gift for my niece. Not something big, but filled with so much love, to accompany her into a warm new chapter of her life.
