I fed this crow a few times in the park. Nothing special, just small gestures. Then one day he flew over, looked me straight in the eyes, and gently placed this bottle cap in my hand.
A gift. His way of saying thank you.
Crows are one of the rare creatures on Earth that actually remember human kindness. They recognize faces, build trust, and give back in the only way they know how — with little treasures they find along the way.
This tiny bottle cap means more to me than most things people have ever given me.

Shared a bit of pastry with a crow down by the Lake Union waterfront.
The crow brought me a gift—a little stone, rolled gently to my feet with his beak.
