Working across different mediums such as oil painting, sculpture, murals, and illustration, her work is a reflection on aspects of the shared human experience such as identity, connection, and belonging.

In Episode 1, we sit down with Christian Franz, a New York City–based beauty and lifestyle content creator, fashion model, cardiology registered nurse, and the producer and host of the Friends of Franz Podcast. His work has been featured in Harper’s BAZAAR Vietnam, Cosmopolitan UAE, and NBC News New York. Of predominantly Filipino-Chinese descent, Franz is deeply involved in AAPI community work, serving as a Creative Partner of the New York Asian Film Festival and a Creator Fellowship Mentor for Asian American Dream.

As 2025 comes to a close, we are looking back on our grand opening. A night spent celebrating with friends, neighbors, and our community, marked by a lion dance blessing the house.

We are grateful for the support and love we have received since day one. As we head into 2026, we are preparing for an exciting next chapter, including the opening of Apt.Hue, our tea and coffee café and event space on the third floor, and , a Chinese medicine inspired spa on the fourth floor, and a 2.0 experience for .huehouse

In the year ahead, we look forward to sharing new programs, collaborations, and most importantly continuing to build Hue House as a home for the Asian diaspora through dining, design, wellness and experience.

Happy New Year. We will see you tomorrow for our New Year’s Eve celebration.

This Thanksgiving, we introduced our staff to a few Asian fruits they had never tried before. In many Asian cultures, ending a family meal with fresh fruit is a tradition, so we thought it’s a perfect time to share this on a holiday centered around gathering with people we care about. 🤗

All of these fruits can be found at the local fruit stands in Chinatown (support your local businesses!) and some even make their way into our cocktails at .huehouse 😉🚃

Special thanks to Daisy and Ezekiel from our team for their guest appearance.
