It’s one of those things you don’t think about… until you need it. And then it changes everything.

Where would you use this first — camping or backyard nights?

Save this for your next outdoor setup.

In Haiti, we distributed 500 SolarPuff lights to families who had no safe way to light their homes.

A mother couldn’t afford a simple lamp.
Her children were studying in air filled with toxic fumes.
Every night brought stress, not comfort.

Then something small changed everything.

A clean, safe light.
A space where children could learn.
A moment that felt, in her words, like a gift from God.

Sometimes the simplest solutions carry the most impact.

What would light change for you?

What if light was not just something you see, but something you feel?

When Hurricane Maria left Puerto Rico in darkness, it showed how deeply people rely on something as simple as light. Homes became uncertain, nights felt longer, and everyday life was suddenly harder. In those moments, light was no longer just about visibility. It became about comfort, safety, and hope.

That is where the idea of the Cube of Hope was born. What looks like a simple geometric design becomes something much more in the hands of those who need it most. It becomes reassurance for families, a sense of calm for communities, and a reminder that even in the darkest times, there is still something to hold on to.

The QWNN continues that purpose. It is more than a lantern. It is a source of warmth, connection, and dignity. Designed to create a soothing atmosphere, it transforms any space into something safe and comforting, whether at home or in times of crisis.

It helps a student keep learning after sunset. It gives peace of mind to those moving through their homes at night. With its solar powered design and built in charging capability, it keeps people connected to what matters most.

This is not just about lighting a space. It is about lifting spirits, supporting lives, and proving that thoughtful design can make a real difference.

Bring light where it matters most and be part of something meaningful.

The sun provides more than enough energy to power every single life on this planet, yet millions of people are still forced to rely on dangerous, harmful, and expensive light sources every single day.

This is a massive failure of accessibility that we refuse to accept. Design only truly matters when it actually solves real, human problems. Solight was not created just to make another lantern; it was created to transform clean, abundant solar energy into something simple, personal, and universally accessible. We built a light that you can carry, use absolutely anywhere, and rely on completely without ever harming your health or damaging the planet.

We believe that global change does not always have to start with massive, complicated infrastructure systems that take decades to build. Sometimes, real change starts with one thoughtful product, one small decision, and one single light that changes the way an individual lives.

Would you choose a product that creates a lasting impact far beyond your own use, knowing that your purchase helps someone who is still living in the dark?

Explore our Give A Light program and join the movement at the link below. Do not just read about change—be the one to actually provide the light for a family in need.

Every product starts with a problem that desperately needed solving. For Solight, that problem was clear: millions of people around the world still lack access to safe and reliable electricity. We didn’t just want to create another gadget; we wanted to provide a sustainable, life-changing solution.

What began as a design concept has grown into a global mission to make solar lighting accessible, practical, and a permanent part of everyday life. This is about more than just innovation—it is about creating something that is truly responsible and built to thrive in real-world situations. When you choose a product that was engineered with a purpose, you aren’t just getting a tool; you are becoming part of a movement that values human impact over profit.

Not every product starts with a business idea. Some start with a simple, desperate need to make the world a little brighter for those who have been left in the dark.

Alice Min Soo Chun did not just sit down to design a lantern. She set out to solve a massive global problem by bringing safe, sustainable, and reliable light to communities that have lived for generations without access to electricity. By combining her deep expertise in architecture with innovative material technology, she created the SolarPuff.

Her work has already impacted over a million people across the globe, proving that when design is driven by a genuine purpose, it can transform lives in ways that a standard product never could. This is not just an invention, it is a movement that proves that sustainability is not just a buzzword, it is a necessary tool for real-world impact. We believe that true innovation is not about what you can sell, but about what you can change.

Would you support a brand more when you know that every purchase directly funds a mission to bring light to those who need it most? Tell us your thoughts below.

Follow along with us as we continue to explore how intentional design can create lasting, tangible change for our communities.

Spring is finally here in NYC and I can feel the energy shifting. 🌷☀️

Longer days, fresh air, and that first moment when you realize you don’t need a heavy coat anymore.

Spring is also when I remember why I love solar so much — the sun is doing all the work. When I created Solight, the idea was simple: capture sunlight during the day and turn it into beautiful, clean light at night. No batteries, no cords, just the power of the sun.

I’d love to know — what’s your favorite sign that spring has arrived? 🌱

Is it the first picnic, a camping trip, flowers blooming, or just longer evenings outside? This installation was in Central Park NYC.

What's happening outside...

I open the windows, clear out what we don’t need, and think about how to make our home feel lighter — calmer — more intentional.

But living in NYC, I’ve also learned how quickly the weather can shift. A bright, sunny day can turn into a storm warning overnight. And as a mom, preparedness isn’t fear-based — it’s peace of mind.

That’s one of the reasons I created Solight.

I wanted a light that was safe, clean, and always ready.
No batteries to replace.
No fire risk.
No scrambling in the dark.

Just solar energy — stored from the sun — ready when you need it most.

As you refresh your home this spring, take a moment to check your emergency kit too. A little preparation can bring a lot of calm. ☀️. 😀
