This ring dish is hand stamped by me, one tiny star, moon and letter at a time.

The photo, however, had some pretty terrible reflections. So I asked ChatGPT to clean those up while keeping my actual handmade product exactly the same. I was VERY specific.

I have spent an unreasonable amount of my adult life thinking about packaging.

Boxes. Tissue paper. Ribbon. Stickers. Inserts. What feels expensive. What looks cheap. What photographs well. What takes too long to pack. And yes, which shades of beige have personally wronged me.

None of this is actually trivial when you sell a physical product.

The little decisions become your brand, your margins, your customer experience and approximately 900 tiny things you have to figure out while also making the thing you're supposedly in business to make.

Giant raw quartz crystals, dipped in gold and hanging from a delicate chain. Every stone is different because rocks do not care about consistency.

And yes, I say “giant” with love. These are not your tiny, dainty, barely-there crystals.

Your initial. A heart. Your initial in Hebrew.

The Hebrew version isn’t actually an option in the Salt & Sparkle shop anymore. It lives over at now.

But this is still what I do. Same hands. Same bench. Same tiny stamps.
