The coffee scene in Tucson is booming, and I’ve discovered another gem called Exo Coffee on Simpson St., its newest location. The adobe building was originally a horse stable in 1885.

Seating is cozy and welcoming inside as well as outside on the lovely patio for enjoying their delicious coffees and pastries.

And I have to mention Trevor, the staff member I met, he was incredibly friendly and made my first visit even more enjoyable. It’s one of those places where you just want to linger a little longer, savoring both the coffee and the ambiance. No WiFi here because Exo wants to encourage an atmosphere where you can relax and disconnect from technology but connect with each other.

Just had another amazing experience at Chez Peachy in Tucson, AZ! If you haven’t explored the food scene here, you’re really missing out. It’s incredible!

Tucson is full of culinary gems that showcase its rich diversity, but I think a lot of people still don’t know about them.

If you’re in town, you’ve got to stop by one of the best pastry spots around. Their cakes and specialty cinnamon rolls are simply out of this world!

I had the most amazing experience! I learned how to make Cowboy Coffee, and let me tell you, it was a game changer. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

We took a trip to Tombstone, AZ, eager to soak in the rich history of the Wyatt Earps and Doc Hollidays, but I never imagined I’d get to taste cowboy coffee and even learn how to brew it myself. We stumbled upon this hidden gem tucked away just off the main drag, and it’s called Cowboy Coffee Bar.

Seriously, the coffee was so smooth and delicious. If you ever find yourself in Tombstone, make sure you seek this place out—you won’t regret it! Cowboy Coffee

If you’re ever at the MSA Annex, you really have to check out Hidden Hearth Bakery. It’s owned by 2-time James Beard semifinalist Alexander Phaneuf.

It’s such a cozy little spot that feels like a well-kept secret. I absolutely adore it! Whenever I stop by, I can’t resist grabbing a Decibel Coffee and a flaky croissant. It’s the perfect little treat to brighten my day.

I love the desert with all my heart. But every now and then, a girl could use a beach and that sea breeze.

I’m reminiscing about our visit to Guadalupe in the Caribbean. French coffee, a sea breeze, and a view to die for is what I miss.

I might have find myself a beach pretty soon. Any suggestions?

I just had the most amazing birthday breakfast at Buendia Breakfast & Lunch on Euclid and 1st! They open at 8 AM, so I definitely recommend getting there early to snag a good spot. I tried the Cafe de Olla, which is this delightful “coffee from the pot,” and it was absolutely delicious. To top it all off, the staff treated me like royalty. It was truly a special way to celebrate my birthday!

I’ve always been curious about using coffee grounds in my garden. Back in North Carolina, I never really needed them, but things are a bit different here in Tucson, AZ. Plus, they’re free, so why not give it a shot? 😁

If you’re in the area, you can grab a bag at the Starbucks on 22nd & Harrison. They don’t have many left, and I think once they’re gone, they’re gone. Starbucks

Wow, what an unforgettable experience! Cariño Coffee Bar truly is a gem.

Imagine a cozy house transformed into a charming coffee shop, right in the heart of the neighborhood. They really shine when it comes to authentic Mexican drinks—each one is crafted with such care and love.

Oh, and get this—it’s located on Cardi B. Blvd! How fun is that? 😂

I recently had the most delightful experience at Life Under the Oak Lavender Farm in Oracle, AZ. We arrived right when it opened at 8 AM, eager to soak in everything this charming place had to offer. Cate and I packed our own little picnic, complete with fresh strawberries, baklava, almonds, and, of course, coffee.

The atmosphere was so inviting, with plenty of seating that encouraged you to just relax and enjoy the moment. We spent our time petting the friendly donkeys, swinging on the tire swing, and wandering through the fields to pick lavender. It was just $5 each to enter, and for an additional $10, we could cut a bundle of lavender to take home with us.

What made it even better was that the temperature was always about 10 degrees cooler than Tucson, making it a perfect escape from the heat. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t recommend it enough! If you ever get the chance, you’ve got to check it out!

I just had the most amazing Turkish coffee and Mediterranean food at Seljan’s Mediterranean Food stall at the Heirloom Farmer’s Market in Oro Valley, Tucson. If you get the chance, definitely stop by and chat with Seljan—she’s incredibly friendly! I can’t say enough good things about her and her son, Joshua. They truly make the experience special!
