CLASSES! For beginners, Knitting 101 and Crochet 101 (4 weeks), and for not-beginners, Knit a Welted Pumpkin (1 session) and Crochet Beyond the Basics (2 weeks). A couple open seats remain in our Knit a Pumpkin with Welting class on Saturday, October 3rd at 1:00 pm. Nothin’ much going on? Come learn a new technique! $40 covers the class, yarn, and pattern…will you choose traditional orange, or naturalistic stripes, or something totally off the wall? You can learn to knit this cute pumpkin at The Ministry of Yarn! Merle will teach you the technique of welting to create those ridges. You just need to know how to cast on, knit, purl, and bind off. There are two day/time options: Saturday 10/3 at 1:00pm ~or~ Friday 10/9 at 11:15 am. Cost is $40, which includes yarn for the pumpkin (your choice of color), yarn for the stem, and the pattern. An optional $20 follow-up class two weeks later will cover sewing and stuffing the pumpkin. Sign up on our website under Classes and Events!

NEW COLORS! We have many fabulous new heathered colors of our workhorse worsted wool, Cascade 220 Superwash. Many of these are available in other Cascade bases, too. The blends of colors add dimension to whatever you make…sweatah weathah is coming, and we even have Pumpkin Spice!
