This 1930s Slingerland bass drum was originally owned by Wayne Martin. Due to the store closing, we are asking $500.00 for this collectible and historical drum.

To the string and band instrument rental customers of Martin Music,
On May 24th, our system crashed and we lost all current balances on our rental accounts among other information. Currently, we are working diligently to regain each rental account balance by hand. Once the rental accounts have the correct payoff amount or equity, we intend on contacting the renter with the payoff amount.
We are offering 25% off the payoff. The renter could come into the store (with cash, check, or credit/debit card), or pay over the phone with a credit card.
We are still currently seeking and exploring options if the renter decides not to payoff the account.
In the meantime, please feel free to stop in if you would like to gain your account information quickly.
We thank all customers for the support you have provided us during this difficult time.

Yet another bittersweet day today in our small town music store. It was a pleasure preserving Wayne’s legacy with CBS 10TV and The Newark Advocate. Martin Music is truly a magical place.

The music shop has had several locations and a few different owners over the years. Recent financial struggles will force the shop to close for good.

Martin Music will be closing as of July 31st.
Martin Music has been serving Licking County for over 70 years. Multiple generations of musicians have been cultivated in a store known for it's "magic". Over time, Martin Music has had many hardships. As a result, we sadly are now forced to close our doors.

Martin Music would like to thank past and present staff members, teachers, students, and customers for all the magical memories.
