Today marks the 30th Anniversary of Pokemon: The Trading Card Game! Pokemon: TCG launched in Japan on this day in 1996. As of March 2026 there have been over 85 billion Pokemon cards printed across all 129 sets and expansions worldwide.

Whether you play or collect, we love being able to celebrate with our widespread Pokemon community that comes to the stores. It is an absolute honor for us to carry such an iconic brand.

Some of our Henry Bear's Park staff drew their favorite Pokemon. Who is YOUR favorite Pokemon?

Throughout the summer our stores have been engaging in a bit of silliness - and lots of fun! Every year we have a companywide “Summer Bingo Challenge” in which our teams are tasked with completing bingo squares based on activities and toys. We love creating connections and community across all of our stores! So if you see any of us hula hooping or conducting a puppet show in the middle of the day, just know we are VERY passionate about getting bingo.

Are you ready to get your brain in shape? As the school year is just around the corner - time flies when you’re having summer fun - we’d like to share some of the many ways to play that also use your noggin. Some personal favorites include the KidzLabs Mega Science Kit where you can conduct your own experiments like a real scientist. Or study the stars with the Thames and Kosmos telescope!

We wanted to highlight a new vendor we’re carrying: meet Mushie! Founded in 2018, Mushie believes in baby toys that are aesthetically pleasing while still prioritizing functionality and growth. We’re already loving the products we’ve gotten in, including a paint palette press toy for aspiring future artists and various teethers with imagery ranging from calming nature to outer space. Come on by and check them out!!
