One of the beautiful attributes of real leather is that it carries your stories with it. Leather gains a patina with use, it darkens, it wears, it scratches. As it ages it gives your stories a visual representation. You know whether this scratch was from your excited dog after a return from a long trip or if it was from writing down your ideas on a rock face after a hike. Your leather gear ages with you.
