Earlybird Farm and Garden Center Opening for the season 4/24/26 Welcome to Early Bird Farm, where plants are grown to perfection. We are open from mid-April to early July.

During this peak season we are open for business from 8am to 7pm, seven days a week. As always, all plants are sown, grown and tended by owner George Sheldrake and the crew of Early Bird Farm. Early Bird Farm has been family owned for two generations, and George's years of dedication and experience make him one of Central New York's premier growers! We are the largest grower in the area, with a hu

ge selection to choose from. The majority of the plants we grow are annuals from seed, unrooted or rooted cuttings. We have over 300 varieties available that are started from seed alone. We also grow perennials from seed that are sold in affordable 4 packs, and we are the only grower in the area to offer this. There are more than 60 varieties of these pack perennials, as well as other high end perennials that are more mature in gallon containers. These started from root divisions, tissue culture or at least one-year-old seed grown material. We generally sow staggered plantings to assure that there are plenty available for the entire season. Whether you’re new to Early Bird, or a seasoned professional, we hope that you enjoy your shopping experience with us and have a wonderful summer enjoying your garden.
