We were at the Musée d’Beaux-Arts in Rouen yesterday when we heard beautiful music and wandered into the room it was coming from. room The museum provides a piano for guests to play. This lovely young man was playing this beautiful piece as his brother watched him. When he was done I walked up and told him never to stop playing. He really touched me with his piece. He had a huge smile on his face and said “I love playing” and that made my day.

Had the solemn honor to spend the day in Normandy for the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. It was sobering to see the thousands of graves of our American soldiers who so bravely fought and died to liberate Northern France from Hi**er. A very sad and proud day for us. May we all remember as Americans why we fight. Our freedom and values are worth protecting. We owe a debt of gratitude to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to fight evil wherever it was found. May God bless their souls.
