Bookin’ It is talking a field trip this month for walk in the woods 🌳! Meet at Brown’s Mill, a 10 minute drive from the store — all you need is yourself, some water, and a good audiobook in your queue!

This is an easy trail walk, but not ideal for strollers. On leash dogs are welcome. Bug spray and sunscreen are recommended, but it’s mostly a shady walk.

Everyone will meet in the parking lot at 6 to start walking at 6:15. We are doing the 1.5 mile loop together. Option to add in to you walk if you want to go farther ☀️!

Book club signups start tomorrow, Saturday August 8 at 10 a.m. 💫!

If you’re new here, hi 👋! We can’t wait for you to join us! Book club is the best!

How It Works:

📙 Pick your club for the month. Stick to one club and become a Regular or mix it up as a book club Hopper—whatever works for you!

📆 Sign up in person starting Saturday at 10 a.m. to grab your spot and your book.

☎️ Can’t make it in? Call or send us a DM! (Note: Call/DM signups must pick up their book by the following Saturday to confirm their spot.)

🐦 Early Bird Signups for Regulars: If you’ve attended at least 3 meetings for a club, you get early access since you have less flexibility than Hoppers.

* 10 Early Bird spots available per meeting.
* Early Bird signups open as soon as we post the new books and dates (usually around the 1st of the month).
* Signup in-person or via DM! (Note: Call/DM signups must pick up their book before signup Saturday to confirm their spot. Need special arrangements? Just let us know!)

We know some of our higher demand clubs fill up fast, but there are always spots available in our other wonderful groups!

It’s hard to believe back to school is this week for many of our bigger kids 🐞☀️📚! We had the best summer with you all!

We loved all of our storytimes, guest readers, D.E.A.R. time, summer reading challenges, and just being a hang out hub. We are grateful to play a part in the kids in our community’s childhoods 🫶

Tomorrow (Monday!) will be our last Board Book Buddies, and then we will be back to one storytime a week, Fridays at 10:30. All ages are welcome 💛!

Most of our booksellers have kids in school or are students. Over the next two weeks, our focus is to make sure everyone has a smooth transition with the start of the new year! So if we are closed for a minute here and there with a carpool pickup, or because there was traffic in the Newnan High Parking lot, we appreciate your patience. This is the best time of year, but we know it’s a hectic one for many of us!
