Pawpaw always put mayonnaise in his soup beans.
Daddy always put peanuts in his bottled Coca-Cola.

Let me introduce you to James David Yearwood, the dad behind Come Cook with Gigi! He would be proud of my cooking page/cookbook! In loving memory, I wish a Happy Father's Day to my Daddy, whose absence continues to be deeply felt since his passing in 2011. Not only did I have a good dad, but I had a godly dad. He lived a testimony before his children that taught us the importance of God and the house of God. Never once did I ever have to ask, “Daddy, are we going to church today?” It was just understood! My Daddy was saved by God's grace and remained a faithful member of the same church for over 40 years, where he worshipped and praised His Saviour! Today, I'm thankful for many things, but mostly for a godly heritage! I sure miss you, Daddy, but heaven is sweeter with you there! Until we are together again. Yes, I’ve always been told I favor my dad, and clearly I do, but as I grow older, I see myself in both of my parents.

Well, I didn’t have much success convincing my husband to let me have a pink kitchen!! 🤷🏼‍♀️ He said, “This isn’t a dollhouse!” Of course, my shenanigans continued, and I said, “I’d be your Barbie and I’d look cute in a pink kitchen. Well, you’re fine just the way you are!” 😂
Accents of pink are okay, but a pink kitchen is not. He just doesn’t have a clue how many pink accents are out there!!! 😂
