As I was getting my birthday 🎉 drink at Starbucks the barista said “I like your bag” As I always say “Thanks I made it!” Her answer gave me the best birthday gift I could’ve asked for. “WOW I thought that was actual Target merch”. Meaning it looked so good she thought I bought it in the store 💜😻

Please please please when looking at someone’s hard made items do NOT say “I have real issues with the price”. We as artisans are more than likely making very little off of our work. We have costs. Materials, supplies, labor. I guarantee you would not walk up to the owner of a big brand and say the same. You will pay $80+ for a bag. I am a small business owner on disability with very very small profit margin. And it is incredibly insulting to say that and in the same breath say but I love the bag and want it.
