Hey everyone!! Thanks for shopping with us at The Restoration Nerd. We appreciate your support of our small business more than I can say.

We are coming up on two years at Design & Consign ~The Indoor Marketplace in November and I think I’m finally getting a feel for what you are looking for.

But being honest that changes so often that part of my job is keeping up!! And I’m here for it!!

I brought in one of my favorite finds ever yesterday. Spice cabinets are all the rage right now and I found this Sauer Spice cabinet literally digging in a building full of stuff.

It’s a commemorative piece celebrating their 100 year anniversary from 1887-1987. It’s in great shape and ready for its new home.

It’s available now at the shop for $125. Don’t miss it!!

Oh and I almost forgot! The Sauer Spice Co is headquartered right here in our great state capital of Richmond. How cool is that!!

They deserved to be enjoyed for years to come and I believe they have found just the right homes for that.

It’s personal for me…not just business. I love every piece I bring into the shop. I love knowing there is story attached that includes family and I love that the story will continue with the new family who will enjoy the piece!! Whether it be an enamel pot that sold or a beautiful Tiffany style lamp!!

That Fenton lamp though!! Hand painted and signed by Fenton’s premier designer Louise Piper in 1977. And to top it off it is uranium glass meaning it glows and #42 of 250 limited edition.

It has a tiny chip on the rim of the globe (as pictured) that lands inside the metal frame of the lamp.
