The Waldport Beach Bike and blues festival was this weekend. We were there selling our saxophones, met a lot of great people, sold some saxophones and had a great time. We offered 15% off all horns at the festival and we are offering the same deal to you. Until Sept. 23,3025, save 15% on all horns. This deal won’t last so don’t delay.

Brass Foghorn repairs about 100 saxophone each year. The majority of the damage we see to saxophones is not from dropping or bumping the horn but from neglect. Failing to clean the horn after each use will lead to pad deterioration, metal corrosion and playability issues. Every sax we sell comes with a free cleaning and care kit. It takes literally under 2 minutes to clean your saxophone. There is no excuse to put your horn away wet.

It’s done! This F.E. Olds Parisian Ambassador has been through our shop for a complete overhaul. Made in Paris at least 50 years ago. This saxophone looks like a vintage instrument but plays like new. All new pads, corks, felts, etc. Tone holes flattened and leveled, regulated and setup. It is gig ready and sounds like a vintage French horn should. No lacquer on this one, just raw brass with an amazing vintage patina. Keys were buffed and polished, looking almost like new. Stand out from the crowd, this horn sounds as great as it looks. And it looks FANTASTIC! Comes with a Vandoren V2 mouthpiece, ligature and case. If you are looking for a vintage French Tenor with a fresh overhaul and priced under $1000, look no further.

What we are currently working on.
This is an F.E.Olds Parisian Ambassador tenor sax. It was made in Paris in 1954. It is raw brass, no lacquer and has an amazing vintage horn patina. The keys are made of solid nickel, most horns use brass keys that have been nickel plated. The nickel plating wears off with extended use. Also, they can’t be buffed or polished, again it will wear off the plating leaving the brass showing through. This horn’s keys, being solid nickel, can be buffed. We are polishing keys on this horn now. Many hours will go into this process, but the keys will look like new!

We are very excited about this saxophone. The patina is amazing, the keys will look like new and it is receiving a complete overhaul, so it will play as a new horn. New pads, corks, felts, etc. and setup to be gig ready. Watch for it in the coming weeks.
