Most days I wear my simple silver hoops but other days beg for something fun to lift my spirits and these new earrings are perfect for that!

We are doing a trial run of these handmade earrings from two USA-owned small business. We have one pair of each style so get them while you can!

All are lightweight and suitable for most of us with sensitive ears. 🩵

We are open!

July 25, 2026 - Delay in opening.

Good morning! I have some family business to help with this morning but I can’t leave until I have someone here with Ty so I will need to delay in opening the shop.

My hope is to open by 11:00-11:30.

I will post when I am back home and can open the shop up.

Hi friends! Our shop is open today, even if our open flag is not hanging on the sign.

I just opted not to carry the metal pole that holds the flag while it’s thundering and lightning. 😁⛈️🌩️⚡️

Good morning from Tanya and Ty at Abiding Acres Farm!

Are you a nature lover like us? Then you will want see what all we offer.

New today in the shop are handmade earrings from a family owned small business in Wisconsin. Hummingbirds, butterflies, and even a cat and chicken adorn these earrings which are lightweight and made with stainless steel, hypoallergenic posts. We only bought one of each style so don’t wait!

We also offer a variety of nature resource materials, most of which are small enough for you to take on a hike so you can easily identify what you see. The handmade small flower presses are also great for exploring so you can immediately press and save those tiny flowers and leaves that you pick up along the way.

We finally stocked some of Ty’s soaps back in the shop. We are branching out and working to expand what we offer. All of our current soaps are made from premade high quality soap bases for Tyler’s safety. He loves soap and candle making days!

He has also been working on new nature inspired beaded pens — they should be heading out to the shop today.

We are open until 4 pm today.

Good morning! We did some rearranging in the shop this week to switch things up a bit. I wanted Ty’s garden stakes to have a more visible shelf to shine. Some of the other shelves are looking a little bare but we are working hard at making soaps and candles to fill them up. We have also ordered more WindRiver Corinthian wind chimes and some beautiful earrings made by small businesses in nearby states.

We are open Fridays and Saturdays 10-4 at 1861 Middle Ridge Road, Newport.

Holiday hours update:

The shop at Abiding Acres Farm will be open July 3-4 from 10-2 (instead of our normal 10-4).

We will be having a sale on these two days only … 25% off of everything.

Come on by … it’s nice and cool inside.
