We are also proud and thrilled to see the younger generation of our Tibetan community pursuing work that deepens our understanding of our history, identity, and struggle, while helping preserve our heritage for future generations.

Making Tibetan dumplings after a long time was inspired by my wonderful cousin in Paris, a working mother of two who is talented at multitasking and prepares delicious food. Seeing her do it inspired me to try, and I succeeded. Making momos by myself was a joyful experience. I think I could improve them next time by using different ingredients, but they were delicious. I shared them with my brother and children, and I’m enjoying them for lunch today, too. Truly a labor of love—and a happy hubby, happy tummy.

What a beautiful day to come together with family and community worldwide to celebrate the richness of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and the many contributions that continue to shape our world.

Every culture carries its own stories, wisdom, and unique traditions. Today is an opportunity to listen, learn, celebrate, and appreciate the Indigenous communities whose living traditions continue to inspire generations.

What a beautiful and inspiring day at the HONK! Festival in Somerville! ❤️

My family and the girls had a wonderful time joining our Tibetan community to celebrate our culture and heritage, and to support our ongoing call for freedom and human rights in Tibet.

It was truly uplifting to see so many people from different backgrounds coming together through music, joy, and solidarity.

It was especially lovely to see our local elected officials out in the community, greeting people, listening, and taking the time to connect with the families and cultures that make our communities so vibrant. It was a pleasure meeting Somerville City Councilors Kristen Strezo and Jon Link! We appreciate their presence and engagement.

A beautiful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together with compassion, unity, and a shared hope for a better world.
