For forty years, Yamaha has served as the official piano provider to The Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center, supplying dozens of pianos throughout one of the world’s most celebrated performing arts institutions.

Falcetti Pianos has been part of that relationship since 2019, and each summer our technical team heads to New York for five intensive days of service at the Met. Their work includes tuning, regulating, voicing, and extensive action work across the piano fleet.

This year, John Slavick, Victor Slavick, Ryan Bergfors, Willis Krammer, Tahquiy Smith, and Thanos Dikos made the trip for the annual service week.

We’re proud to have our technicians helping care for the pianos used throughout The Metropolitan Opera. Seeing their expertise put to work in a setting like this is something we never take for granted.
