We are happy to take paperbacks in good condition in exchange for credit towards other books. We do not take hardcovers except for children's picture books and we do not offer cash for books. At the moment, we are asking customers to bring only a box or a bagful at a time. We sell books at 50% o
f the cover price (sometimes less if they're worn or less current) and give 20% of the cover price in credit to the trader. If you do not use the entirety of your credit when you visit, you will be given a card to take with you. Make sure you hold onto it! We do not keep a record of your book credit! If left inactive, the amount on your card expires after 1 year but is extended a year to the date each time you use it. **Book credit may only be applied to books**
TRADING MUSIC:
Currently we are only accepting vinyl in good condition. You receive a store credit based on the condition and market prices of the vinyl you bring - this credit can be applied to either music OR books. Store credit can be used toward the full value of used merchandise and half the value of new merchandise (ex: a new vinyl priced at $19.99 would be eligible for up to $10 of credit applied). There is a municipal lot directly behind our building and Starbucks. You may park there for free for up to 3 hours! Newtown is a lovely place to spend the day shopping and dining and we hope you take full advantage of the borough when you come to visit.
