Florida home permits rebound 28% in August
It’s encouraging to see some positive momentum in our state: Florida issued 7,842 new-home permits in August—a 28% jump from July, representing nearly $2.9 billion in construction value. Tampa and Southwest Florida led the way, making up more than half of those permits, while Southeast Florida posted the highest average permit value.
