When I was small, my dad would read these to me every single night before bed. Alice would start reading a bible story and then say the phrase "Reading is the magic key to take you where you want to be." She would then be transported through a portal into the world of the story to witness it first hand.

My dad told me if I learned to read on my own, I could do this, too and as a pre-schooler I obviously whole- heartedly believed him. 😄

BUT, in reality he was right! He inspired a love for reading in me at a very young age, and I have been able to transport myself to all kinds of magical worlds. I Thank him for my always vivid imagination and the passion for reading that has carried into adulthood.🩷

Fable North is heading south for an epic quest at the Ye Olde Harvest Festival ! 🍂 See how I've tranformed my booth into a woodland bookshop, hosted by perhaps Middle-earth's biggest lover and protector of nature🌳 ( Outfit Reveal coming soon! )

I will have medieval and forest themed bundles, Blind Date with a Book, Bookish Goodies and everything else you've come to expect from a visit to the Fable North booth.

OK guys, it's official!

I am hosting my first blind date with a book class - BYOB or purchase one on site! Everything provided.

November 14th 12-2pm at The Compass Coffeehouse in Nikiski. Once I determine the class size and sort out details I will post a sign-up link.

If this class fills up and I have more interest I am considering doing another the following weekend in Soldotna- please let me know of any spaces you recommend for me to host it at!

I am considering doing a Blind Date with a Book Class!

I would provide all of the supplies needed to wrap and build your own blind date with a book, and help out with guidance on folding techniques.

Participants could bring their own book to wrap , or purchase one from me.

I am thinking sometime in November, when we are all starting to think of gifts for loved ones.

Please let me know if you would be interested in something like this. If I get enough responses I would definitley go forward in arranging the event.
