Hey, everyone! Lately, I have been doing a lot of praying and wondering how I should go about this little business of mine. And, honestly, I have lost a bit of passion doing it. I also realized that it's taking up room in my mind and I'd rather have those parts be vacant for more important things. I'm getting burnt out and I want to start creating things for myself versus trying to sell it.

I thought I wanted to have a small business for such a long time, but I have been listening to these nudges from God. Deep down, I don't want to be doing it right now. Maybe down the road when the kiddos are getting older. Time is precious and I'd rather get creative with them than my Etsy shop.

So, that being said, I'm going to be taking a break. I don't know for how long, but until I gather the inspiration, the time, and the energy again. For now, I'm going to focus on God, my family, and my home.

Sweet Pea Studio by KoKo has officially hit 100 sales on Etsy!!

Thank you everyone so, so much for all of your support. It truly means the absolute world and I love being able to share our milestones with you all! We have sold hundreds of items, dozens of new customers, and some repeating. All of this wouldn't have happened without you guys believing in this little dream of mine. Again, thanks a million and let's hope for 100 more sales!

Sorry I've been MIA for the past two weeks. I have been really focusing on my family and my home and it's well worth it to take a break. But, now I'm back to posting and coming up with new ideas. New products will be posted this week so stay tuned!

Friday means "Coaster Day"!

This week's coaster set is named "Fishers of Men" inspired by Matthew 4:19. "Come, follow me." Jesus said "and I will make you fishers of men."

This soft and sea-toned coaster set was influenced by one of the most powerful invitations in Scripture: to leave behind the familiar and follow Jesus into deeper purpose.

Just as Peter and Andrew dropped their nets to become fishers of men, we’re called to share light, love, and truth wherever we are, in big ways and small.

May this set be a reminder that God uses the everyday to do the extraordinary!

This was taken at the very first job I've had 15 years ago and it so happened to be a locally owned business. I remember just being enamored and thinking, "how cool would it be to own your own business?" However, I did understand the hardships of operating one. Still, I felt it in my heart that I wanted to do something similar. I remember making Pinterest and Wanelo accounts putting products together and creating my ideal store. I thought it was all a pipedream and that it wouldn't amount to anything.

Then, in 2019, I started selling my artwork online and I was surprised about how well it did. I wasn't making a huge living, but it got the ball rolling and I was pretty proud of myself.

Then, 2020 happened (no explanation necessary) and we ended up moving back to the Brainerd Lakes Area. We got a fixer-upper of a house, had a couple of the greatest little people in the world, and then Theo got his Cri du Chat Diagnosis.

When I was looking at products or anything that I could buy to represent Cri du Chat Syndrome. I noticed that there was a lack of what was available and it dawned on me, "well, I can design stuff and sell them on Etsy, couldn't I?' I also thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to spread the Word of God as well and share my experiences with motherhood.

Now, we are here! This little business of mine isn't the bread winner, but it's something I am passionate about. I have so, so many ideas in mind and I'm excited to share those with all of you when the time comes.
