But what are we actually waiting for? 🫖

When hot water meets tea leaves, it begins pulling out the compounds that give your tea its flavor, aroma and color.

And here’s the important part:

Longer doesn’t always mean better. 👀

Leave some teas steeping too long and that lovely cup can turn surprisingly bitter.

Tea is a little like life that way…

Sometimes you have to know when you’ve steeped on something long enough. 😂

**Here's something your wine-loving friends may appreciate: tea has a sense of place, too.**

Where tea is grown—the elevation, soil, rainfall, climate and even the season it's harvested—can influence what you eventually taste in your cup.

That's one reason two black teas can taste completely different, even though they both come from the same tea plant.

One may be bold and malty. Another might be delicate, floral or slightly sweet.

And that's part of the fun of tea: **there's always another cup to discover.**
