It’s going to be a little quiet on my feed for a bit…..

I have lots of dried flowers I could share, but with tons of house construction and several house moves to accommodate, time is terribly limited.

I did want to post this lovely dried dahlia bouquet here, sent to fave 2022 wedding clients on the birth of their first babe. Though time is short, I’m still blessed each time our flowers can celebrate with you! ❤️

It felt like the “last day” of the season today as I literally grabbed-with bare hands!- these roses from the field, fleeing from the rain and the shenanigans of the kittens creating chaos under the frost covers in the hoophouse as I was laying them down. Our yard has been absolutely excavated these past 2 weeks to accomplish a lot of drainage, electricity, and water gains in our outbuildings, but jumping over 6’ ravines into a slick of mud to get to the hoophouse and close it up before tonight’s freeze felt hard enough. Fighting the 4 adorable kittens to get off the seedlings, out of the mums, away from the eucalyptus, out the door, and for goodness sakes, to stop climbing up the plastic sides and top with their claws was fairly exhausting! The rose hoophouse has been without plastic since a windstorm last fall, and so I had to grab these beauties as the “last bouquet” and leave the red , much thornier varieties of roses, to the whims of the freeze tonight. Sad, but the growing season does have to end at some point. Until next year, my sweet roses.

One of the most fun things ever is giving flowers (and happiness) to unsuspecting people. The over abundance of blooms just begged to be given away today. My kiddos and I really enjoyed that pleasure, and during the giving we were thankful for friends’ and God’s generosity and bounty to us.

Look at these gorgeous dahlias I was able to add to our flowers for our business subscription at from ! It’s part of the teamwork we do as a flower collective, helping each other out with flowers when needed or passing on each other’s flowers to our customers when one of us has extra.

Flower lovers of all types: we have three more bunches of these glorious dahlias available today at the Village Osteopath, the business in the front of the Local Flower Hub warehouse! The staff is there until 5pm!

Farmer’s Market Friends, the Noblesville@Market continues through October 14th, however, our participation has ended a little early.

We have enjoyed our time with you this season immensely, and now the remaining lovely days of fall will be spent planting and preparing beds for many more lovely things to bloom next spring!
