It has taken a couple of months…. First was a bad part. Got that replaced and could now fasten the trim saw blade. Then it was time to put the guard over the blade. Very poor instructions from the vendor. Their picture shows a plastic guard and mine is metal. Only instruction to get it to fit is to bend the metal with your hand…. Which I have done off and on depending how cold the garage is. Tried the website and You Tube. Nothing. Today I noticed a small gap between the water tray and blade assembly. Had to get the silicone hammer out and tap the tray in to cover the gap. Warped? Who knows. Did that, screwed on the guard…and darned thing dropped into place easy peasy. 🤬 Turned it on and no grinding, no hitting the guard, sprinkler works so I trimmed a bit off a piece of Biggs Jasper. Put the recommended stuff on the saw and when I get brave I’ll FINALLY get some trimming done!

For those who have no idea what I am writing about…I bought a Pixie lapidary machine with trim saw attachment.
