Howdy Bear & Bee friends! Tomorrow is the inaugural Western MA Zine Fest here in North Adams! Zinesters of all ages will be sharing their wares at 51 Main St from 11am - 4pm. Come by, say hello, and see what people have been making lately. And if you have a zine but forgot to register, bring it anyway! All are welcome.

Can you believe it's the penultimate day of 2023? A heartfelt thank you to all our friends, families, and followers for all your support. We're thrilled to be here helping crank up North Adams' nerd quotient just that little bit more, and we couldn't do it without you.

The Bear & Bee will be open for your browsing pleasure on New Year's Eve (12-5) and on New Years Day (12-5). Here's to more peace, compassion, and kindness in 2024 -- and more time to read, of course! 💜💜💜

This is it, folks, the last chance to grab a gift before you jump in the car and head out to see the in-laws on Long Island! We're open 12-5 today, and we're happy to recommend something for that uncle who doesn't believe in climate change, or for any of those other sticklers on your list. The new Iliad? The new Murderbot novel? We've got it, plus gifts that your office secret Santa will love and/or be baffled by.

Note: We are closed Monday and Tuesday, but we'll be back on Wednesday!

This weekend we celebrated our 2 year anniversary. We’ve added thousands of books, expanded out YA section, added a hideaway cabin to the kids section and enjoyed every moment with friends, other downtown businesses and everyone we’ve met. What a great town! Thank you SO much for your support and love of books-Here’s to 20 more years! ❤️

Prepping for Pride tonight at the MassMOCA courtyard!!! 2 years ago we opened the Bear and Bee and helped create the first Pride event in North Adams. We are SO excited to see how it’s grown! Join us for the 3rd annual Pride Night tonight- Rain of Shine!! Let’s dance the night away!
