Please take a few moments to think about the reason for this day & all the people that helped us get to where we are in regards to safe working environments, labor laws, working towards equal pay & equal opportunities for doing the same work, etc. Let’s not lose those rights. Now I’m planning & preparing for the fall/holiday season in my vendor kiosk in the mall.

But at my former job, September was always busy preparing for the return of students to campus with all the excitement & mixed feelings that come from the first time living away from home and being a young adult with all the new responsibilities that brings! The excitement and the home sickness; the letting go but wanting to know how they are doing and if they’re eating right & attending classes. Parents, students & siblings and all the emotions related to starting college—that’s what September was for me for many years that I looked forward to!

I forgot to take a selfie yesterday with this outfit on; but I wanted to show it off a little!

How to take a cute, but kind of blah looking top that I’ve had for several years & add a splash of color to bring it to life! Yay kimona top. So glad I kept this one for myself 😜; but I do have 2 more just like it plus one that’s different colors.
