Ransom’s Awards was recently commissioned to create a “Traveling Trophy” that would be awarded to the winner of the annual wrestling match between Pittston Area and Wyoming Area. This trophy is aptly called “The Battle of the Bridge”…….named after the Water Street Bridge that separates these two proud schools.

The 2022 Winner = Pittston Area 35-20

This award is made of Oak (base), granite (pillars) and tin (bridge). It weighs approximately 60 pounds.

We hope that the award adds to this great rivalry and promotes the wonderful sport of wrestling.

A Special Thanks goes out to Shawn Sockman and Andrew Noll (Clinton County Memorials) for their help in completing this unique award.
