Five reasons why you’ve goat to come to the C***r Mill this holiday weekend:

1. Goats! The four leggeds would like to see you. They may also want you to feed them, but let’s just tell ourselves that they’re not just using you for snacks. It feels better like that.
2. Navor Koken Cafe is serving up their last weekend of delicious sandwiches, ice cream, coffee, snacks and more.
3. Provisions. The mill has been fully restocked with all the favorites - c***r, donuts, fruit pies from Be Kind Bake House, charcuterie, cheese, and all the c***r mill range from pickles and jams, to maple syrup and honey.
4. Candy. We have it all - Pick n Mix including British wonders, swedish oddities, American classics plus hand made truffles and local fudge.
5. Flowers. Fresh flowers just delivered from Longview Farm - plus we have some wonderful new vases to show them off in - including our quirky classics from Quail ceramics in England.

It’s going to be a real peach of a weekend in North Branch. We highly recommend you swing by for some of the following:

- Fresh picked peaches and blueberries
- Coffee, sandwiches, pastries and ice cream (!) at the Navor Koken Cafe cafe
- Fruit pies and quiches from Be Kind Bake House
- A visit to the greedy goats
- Picnic and barbecue provisions

Happy 4th July!

We’ll be open today from 10.30 to 4pm with some highlights for your celebrations…

🥧 We have all the pies - apple (classic), blueberry and rhubarb (my personal favorite)
🌽 We have the best tortilla chips, salasa and queso, plus the famous wrap city chips. It’s an occasion worthy of a great chip and dip…
🧑‍🍳 Primo bbq tools - from grilling baskets, to burger smashers, and the old “put a fork in me, I’m done” grilling forks
🫐 Blueberries and raspberries
🥖 Fresh bread from Roger That Bakery
🐐 Our goats don’t know it’s July 4th yet, but give them a snack and remind them.

Last but not least - our friends at Navor Koken Cafe will have the cafe open with soft serve ice cream, strawberries and cream, iced coffee, sandwiches and more plus the Homestedt | Catskills barn will also be open in case you need the perfect napkins, flatware, glassware or extra chair for your celebration.

cafe now open at The C***r Mill every weekend offering up soft serve ice cream, hot and cold drinks, and a selection of Northern European classics (swipe for a sample menu and pictures). Come say hi and stay a while… from the C***r Mill country store, to the Homestedt Barn, a visit to the greedy goats, and now the Navor Koken cafe with indoor and outside seating; it’s becoming a place to while away a summers day.

We hope to see you there on the weekend for a little lunch or fika (Scandinavian coffee and pastry)

Glad Midsommar! While we’re not hosting our annual Midsummer dinner this year, we are dipping our toes into something equally exciting. Today Navor Koken Cafe will be opening up in the annexe of the mill - serving up Northern European sandwiches, salads, coffee, ice cream and yes - strawberries and cream. Given our own English and Swedish roots, Navor Koken felt like a perfect fit, and we’re very excited to have them join us in North Branch. Stop by for something delicious. They’ll be here every weekend through the summer.

Is it summer? We’re not sure, so this weekend we’ll have both warm donuts and iced coffee. We have lots to see on a rainy weekend - plus The Homestedt Barn right next to the C***r Mill is opening its doors again this weekend. Lovers of characterful hole goods and antiques rejoice!

Happy Easter weekend from the C***r Mill 🐣🌼🐑

We’re excited to welcome you in this weekend after our winter slumber - spring is finally here. In these slower months we haven’t been wasting any time - we’ve been reorganizing, restocking, and adding lots of new things to the mill. Here are some highlights:

🍬 We have all the Easter candy. British specialities, pre packed mixes, and new Easter bundles in wicker baskets.
🐕 Incredible dog treats - from hamburgers to fries, empawnadas to bbq bones - all made locally from natural ingredients
🍯 Our c***r mill range of honey, ham, syrup, pickles and speciality teas has been fully restocked
🥖 Fresh bread, donuts, pies, bagels, cookies and more
🐑 European sheepskins, British wool sweaters and blankets, and lots of other things to stay warm in the roller coaster weather of spring
🧑‍🍳 Tools for the ultimate Easter feast from serving bowls to cooking tools, flatware to glassware and everything inbetween

This and much much more. We look forward to welcoming you to the mill for the advent of spring.

Yea it’s cold out there, yes we’re open (for today at least), and yes we have lots of good things to not just survive but to thrive in tomorrows snowpocalypse.

Happy Saturday from North Branch.

Things are feeling a bit brisk out there this weekend, but we have some solutions:
1. I roaring wood burning cook stove at the mill, with hot apple c***r, donuts and hot cocoa on offer.
2. Our British wool sweaters are on sale - this weekend only get 20% off! When it comes to the cold, nothing beats wool.
3. Grab a bucket of c***r mill kettle corn made for us by then take it home and enjoy it with a movie…
4. New fancy C***r Mill hot cocoa - which we will be sampling today at the mill :)
5. Fresh bread from , bagels from and pies from
