Alternate Designs Alternate Plastics is all about creating new products with sustainable materials.. Earth to infiniti! I use a 3d print filament called Nonoilen.

Alternate Designs is built around the idea of building new products, here in America, out of sustainable, biodegradable and compostable materials. With new technology emerging in the 3d printing world, I am able to do just that. It is a PLA and PHA mix that allows the polymer chain to be broken down at a far greater pace than that of regular plastic. In fact, it can be broken down in a regular compost environment in your back yard! This is ground breaking for the our planet and humanities future. I believe this type of material will change the pollution path for the better in the future and I am very excited to be at the forefront of this change!

How about this new pen?! Another difficult design but stoked on how it turned out! You can bet this rig will become dirt, as it should, at the end of its life cycle! Don't buy crap, pollutive plastic from china. Buy clean, biodegradable polymers from the Alternate Design. Made in Minnesota!

3D printing makes a lot of waste. failed prints, extrenuous printing material such as supports and large brims produce a fair amount of wasted material. This is the compost box and come spring, that wasted print will be food for the microbiome living in our backyard compost!

This one was a doozy to make. suprisingly it took me a lot of trial and error to get this right. But now IT IS DIALED! This unit is fully customizable, names, sayings, hashtags, anything you can imagine!

Introducing the ALTRN∞PEN! The biodegradable and compostable pen! The only part of this pen that is not biodegradable is the pen insert, which is aluminum and can be recycled at the end of its life!

Don't buy cheap plastic that is killing the environment. Buy PHA polymers that return to the dirt, as dirt!
