Graduation Season 2026… The best one yet!!

I mentioned this before and I’ll say it again, graduation season may just be my favorite! Many orders I fill are for graduates I know or at least know of and some are for complete strangers, but by the time delivery day arrives, I feel like I already know them!
It is such a special and exciting time for these grads and their families that I want them to know each order is made especially for them. The pictures posted may start to look the same, but they really aren’t. The types of chocolate may differ, the color themes change, the schools and trades vary, the quantities are different.
This season I had such strong support of several local moms who really helped spread the word about JK Buckeyes & More (you know who you are 😊) and as a result, the number of orders received nearly doubled from last year! I did quite a few baseball player and band member grads this year and some are continuing to play at the college level! I also did several orders for grads who will be learning a trade this Fall which is so encouraging to hear since we definitely need more people in the trade fields. One graduate will be a member of the Ohio Highway Patrol, so appreciative of that! Another graduate will continue her passion for dance with the hope of becoming a Rockette one day soon! How exciting!
For the college graduates that I made platters and party packs for, best of luck out in the real world now! Give yourself grace as you work towards finding a job in your field. It definitely takes time! You’ll land there eventually, it just takes time.
I am so grateful to everyone who has recommended me to a friend, neighbor, co-worker, or family member. That is how small businesses survive and thrive!
