Our specialties are in Primitive, Colonial, Folk-Art, and Antiques. Pine Cone Gift Shoppe, a mother and son owned business, has been in business for 17 years. Gary Chapman and Sharon James boast the best service around. The store is their true passion, Gary says. "Our home looks just like our store, we love all the the items we sell," he says. The duo selects each and every item to be in the store

. They befriend their customers and make themselves a part of the community. They buy from about 50 local artists that live, work and shop in their community. Around 10 of these artists, are exclusive to our shop only. We also, have 12 Early American Life artisans wears in our shop.

Marta has held a fascination with art and hand lettering from an early age. At age 12, she taught herself calligraphy and later worked as a commercial artist while still in high school. Although not pursuing fine arts in college, she knew that her interest in hand lettering would continue to grow and evolve. In the early 1980's, during a familiar trip to the local art museum, she viewed her first fraktur and the desire to learn more about these illuminated documents was born. Being a self-taught artist her journey led her to Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the heart of "Pennsylvania Dutch" country. The artform proved to be a tailormade expression of her love of lettering, folk art and early Pennsylvania history. She has been creating frakturs since 1987 and still remains a one-person operation. Her appreciation of the art form and desire to create authentic folk art led her to the methods that are essentially the same as when the originals were made from 1750 to 1850. Traditional verses are chosen and the words inspire the layout and design. Her frakturs are made by hand one at a time, and include museum quality preservation and framing.

Jonathan and Jan Wright founded Crocker & Springer Pottery early in 1987, shortly after getting married. They dreamed of making a living together in the world of fine craft by combining their skill sets --Jon's love of hand-throwing pots on a potter's wheel, as well as building and firing monstrous kilns; and Jan's passion for hand-decorating the pottery using the techniques of painting, slip-trailing, sgraffito-carving, and sculpting. During the ensuing years, the award-winning pair has become well-know nationally for their high quality, handmade, early American style salt-glazed stoneware and redware.

I wanted to share how PROUD of Chris I am. He’s been “hooking” off and on for a few years, Colleen taught him. So I’ve been encouraging to make a rug for the shop, well he did just that and it sold within a few hours. All the wool used in the rug is from my sweet Marilyn who I dearly miss everyday. I can’t explain how much this makes my heart happy. Keep an eye out for more rugs to come from Christopher. ❤️🐑🥰
