Congratulations Ashley! We are so lucky to have such a talented woman working for X-Excel.
Congratulations to our next All-Star DSP, Ashley Eller, of X-Excel, LTD . Ashley was nominated by Jeannette Coleridge of X-Excel.
In her nomination of Ashley as an all-star, Jeannette wrote:
"Ashley has been with X-Excel for over 1 year and exemplifies qualities needed in any DSP all-star such as kindness, dedication, and solution-based thinking. I always appreciate that when there is a challenge, Ashley comes with a solution. Although it might not always be where we land, it allows for brainstorming and a discussion-based mindset.
Ashley has taken on the self-appointed role of mental health skills trainer. She is open about her personal experiences and listens to others. She leads daily trainings on these skills with those who have mental health outcomes and encourages all to uses the tools regularly. For example, we serve one woman who struggles regularly with her self-esteem. Ashley had to write 3 positive things about herself, then asked her to type it up the following day, then hang it somewhere to review the days after. Although seemingly small, if empowered this woman and encouraged her to reflect more positively on herself. In addition to performing these skills together with the people she serves, she has wonderful documentation that shows a full story of progress.
Ashley often comes with ideas and solutions on ways to help people feel more engaged & ways for them to feel valued. Ashley recently started running our chocolate area along with another staff member. Working in a team can sometimes be challenging, but she manages it well, listens to other ideas, and gives a lot of verbal praise to the people working in the area as well."
