We are so lucky to have such amazing community support. Thank you to Ossipee Concerned Citizens, Carroll County Food Access Network and UNH Extension, and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Rogers Family Trust Fund. Thanks as well to all of our volunteers and loyal customers. You are making such a difference in the lives of local seniors.

We’re excited to share that the Gibson Center and Ossipee Concerned Citizens have been selected to participate in the Carroll County Food Access Network Farm to Senior Pilot Project, led by UNH Extension!

Thanks to a $7,500 grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation Rogers Family Trust Fund, we’ll be bringing more locally grown food to the older adults we serve while supporting Carroll County farmers.

As part of the pilot, we’ll incorporate at least one locally sourced ingredient into our menus each week for community lunches and Meals on Wheels. It’s a win for seniors, local farmers, and our local food system! 🌱
