💌 A note to my COZY friends 💌

Things have been quiet over here and I wanted to send you an update.

Over the summer our family experienced a deep loss; one that made time feel like a trick, accelerating and stopping in a bewildering dance we simply stumbled our way through. Priorities shifted and COZY took a back seat, patiently waiting for me to reconnect.

Being on the other side of this event has provided me with a beautiful perspective. It has, in all of its painful disarray, allowed me to take the time to think about what was working for COZY, what brought the most joy, and what simply wasn't sustainable. On that note, I have leaned in to some things and created distance from others:

Remember the collab we did with to raise funds for !? I'm proud to say I've deepened my connection with Bootstraps and am working in the education department to help students get their GED. Beverly Bootstraps is everything I thought it was and SO much more. I am blown away by their impact on and loving care for this community. And, remember the mother's day event? Having taken the time, I realize how much joy that event brought me. I'll be deepening my practice in order to support mothers and those on their (sometimes difficult, always profound) journey to becoming mothers. And, remember the cold water dipping!? I'm back at it working to create more of a community around the experience (let me know if you're interested in joining!).

Please know that COZY is still here, up and running online ( 😉. I'm so grateful for your continued support and orders! Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need a special gift for your loved one or for yourself ~ I would love to help.

We stepped out of the office for a while and now we’re back!

Our family goes to and to restore and this trip didn’t disappoint. So much of our COZY inspiration comes from these trips. Beautiful music, scenes, people and goodies all around!

I’m a Montessori trained teacher and it’s woven into so much of who I am (and therefore COZY).

The first picture is the Whitby kettle from A COZY customer reached out as he’s moving in with his daughter and wanted something special for the move. I couldn’t help but mark the occasion and wrap it beautifully for him…

The second photo is a “special rock” wrapped by my 5 year old (and COZY sidekick/assistant). She watched me go through each little step and then proceeded to wrap this gift for her rolly pollie bugs that she found earlier today (and made a habitat for).

📞 Call before you crawl 📞

Did you know that Saturday, May 13th is Mother's Day of Action around the country? The good folks and I noticed that there weren't any events on the North Shore so we put one together! We wanted to create a space for you to come and TAKE ACTION for common sense gun laws in America. Come in, make a call, send an email, donate, write a postcard, grab a coffee and then be on your way! Do one or all of these things but come do SOMETHING with us.
